The directions on the box come down to four steps.
Open 1 pouch and put the patch on right away, on clean, dry, smooth skin on your abdomen, hips or buttocks.
Wear it under clothing and keep it out of sunlight. Do not cut the patch into smaller pieces.
Wear only 1 patch at a time, for 4 days in a row.
After 4 days, take it off, fold it in half with the sticky sides together and throw it away where children and pets cannot reach it. Put the new patch on a different place.

Three places are named on the label
A new place each time you change the patch.

Great for international travel
I use these when traveling internationally where public toilets are hard to find. I am 67 and have a bit of urgency that this controls.
Oxytrol Patch works well for me!
As of right now, weeks into using these patches, replacing with a new one every 4 days, I love these. They've changed my life. I feel like I'm catching up on years of interrupted sleep! Now I only have to take a few visits to the bathroom. Before, I felt like I had to go constantly and was always uncomfortable. Now, I feel so much more confident about being able to live my life, and my sleep is so much better. The only dislike I have is the redness on my skin, but I'm going to try rotating where I put the patch and see if that helps. I'm assuming maybe the redness is from me using the same location. I'm giving it 5 stars though because overall, this has been a huge benefit for me and I plan to continue using it.
It Works For Me!!
I've had nighttime bladder issues for years, getting up every 2 hours to use the bathroom.Nothing changed the first two nights wearing the patch. The third night I slept through the night --six hours uninterrupted!! No issues!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Pretty Effective
These were recommended to me by my physician. At first I thought they were awesome but after about a month they didn’t seem as effective as they were at first. I’ll keep using them and see how it goes.
Wouldnt repurchase
I didnt find this very useful. If anything i think it was the placebo effect that made me go less
They Work for Me!
A woman of a 'certain age' I am a bit prone to urgent bladder. It's o.k. when I'm home but a bit nervewracking when traveling or out in public. I've been using these patches for travel for a number of years and they do work. One patch placed on the lower abdomen lasts four days. They are not prone to coming off during a shower or swimming. They're indetectable under clothing. And they do help that urgency situation.
Oxytrol for Women is a skin patch for women with overactive bladder. You do not swallow it. You press it onto clean, dry skin on your abdomen, hips or buttocks, and it stays there for 4 days under your clothes.
Each patch carries one active ingredient, oxybutynin, at 3.9 mg a day. The front of the box calls that full prescription strength, and the phrase has a history. The same patch was sold by prescription for years before it moved to the open shelf in 2013.
The box is easy to spot. It is bright pink, with a blue silhouette of a woman in a dress beside the name and a ribbon that reads "Relief from Overactive Bladder". A small moon in the corner carries the line that sums up the routine: 1 patch treats for 4 days and 4 nights.

The label is narrow on purpose, and we like that about it. Oxytrol for Women is for women 18 and older. It is not for men, and it is not for children. It treats overactive bladder, and the box defines that with three symptoms: going more often than usual, a strong need to go right away, and leaking when you cannot hold the urge.
It will not help with leaks that come only when you cough, sneeze or laugh. The label states it in plain words, because that is stress incontinence, a different condition. If that is your only symptom, this is the wrong box, and it is better to know it before you pay.
A patch suits you if you would sooner change something twice a week than remember a pill every day. It asks for a little care in return. You move it to a new spot each time, you keep it out of the sun, and you watch the skin under it. Some buyers report itching or redness, and the label warns about both.

There are two boxes, one with 4 patches and one with 8. They are sold in packs of 1, 2, 3 or 6 boxes, and the price of a day shifts from pack to pack. It runs from $0.80 to $1.38 a day, and the gap is worth a minute of your time.
Start small if the patch is new to you. The label says to stop and ask a doctor if your condition does not improve after 2 weeks, and one box of 4 covers 16 days. If the patch works for you, the larger packs bring the price of a day down.
